Ella Heisz Blake
    
Mrs. Ella Heisz Blake, age 91, a resident of Cambridge Court in Culleoka, TN, passed away on Monday, September 28, at the home of her daughter.

A memorial service for Mrs. Blake will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the University United Methodist Church in Salina, KS. Graveside services will follow in the Glasco Cemetery in Salina.

The family will visit with friends Monday from 9:00 until 10:45 AM at the church.

Williams Funeral Home of Columbia, TN is in charge of arrangements.

Born June 10, 1918 in Plymouth, NE, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Beulah Campbell Heisz and the wife of the late Herbert Blake. She was a retired school teacher in the Salina, KS Public School System.

Mrs. Blake is survived by her daughters: Marilyn Blake and Judy Blake (Jim Laughlin), both of Culleoka, TN, Jane (James) Beasley of Nashville, TN and Karen Oldson of Westcliffe, CO; one brother: Leslie (Edith) Heisz of Newton, KS; grandchildren: Kathryn Beasley (Christopher Farrell) of Nashville, TN and Sarah Beasley (Jason Morris) of Pittsburgh, PA; four great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Keelan, Elliot and Jasper; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Donald Oldson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to your choice of a charity, library or place of worship.
